What size filter do I need?

Don’t know your size? You’re not alone. Just yank your current filter out of your vent and look for the numbers stamped on the edge — something like 16x25x1. That’s your size. If there’s dust bunnies clinging to it like it's their last hope, congrats — you waited too long. Click here to get started!

How often do I need to change it?

Every 1–3 months, depending on how much life you’ve got in your house (pets, roommates, toddlers, chaos). We actually have a quiz to help with this. Take it here

Can I cancel?

Of course. We’re not clingy. Cancel any time before your next shipment. You can do it yourself online from your accout here.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes! Heading out of town? Need a filter break? You can pause anytime from our account page. We won’t take it personally.

What kind of filters are these?

MERV 10. That’s nerd-speak for “catches the bad stuff but still lets your HVAC breathe.” It's the sweet spot which is why we call it “The Everyday Hero” — trusted, effective, not overkill. MERV 11 too, which is basically the bougie version of MERV 10. Learn more about MERV

Do you ship everywhere?

We ship to the continental U.S. — so all the main 48. No Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. Territories just yet. We’re working on our teleportation skills.

What if my filter doesn’t fit?

Hit us up at ops@heyairheads.com. We’ll sort it out faster than you can say “I forgot to measure.”

Can I gift a subscription?

Yes! Because nothing says “I love you” like clean air. Check out our gift cards.

Can I name my filter?

Sure. We recommend something bold like Dusty, Sir Sneeze-a-Lot, or HVACula.

What if I live in a yurt?

Honestly, that’s cool. If you’ve got vents and a zip code in the continental U.S., we’ve got you covered.

The Everyday Hero

MERV 10

  • Catches dust, pollen, lint, and normal life particles
  • Perfect if your biggest air threat is your couch collecting crumbs
  • Think: standard air protection without going overboard
Good for:
Apartments, pet-free homes, non-allergy people, budget-minded breathers

The Overachiever

MERV 11

  • Grabs everything MERV 10 does—plus pet dander, mold spores, and fine debris.
  • Great if you’ve got pets, allergies, or just like your air extra crispy.
  • Doesn’t block airflow like MERV 13+ sometimes can.
Good for:
Homes with pets, sniffly noses, or “I like knowing my air is extra clean” energy
